This Privacy Policy provides comprehensive information to data subjects/clients about the personal data processed by LLC Legal Experts Group, the controller responsible for this processing. It explains how and why the data is processed, how long it is kept, and how it is used.

LLC Legal Experts Group (hereinafter – the Company) processes personal data in full compliance with the Law of Georgia “On Personal Data Protection,” ensuring the protection of the rights and freedoms of data subjects/clients. This includes all operations performed on personal data, such as collection, organization, transmission, and deletion.

 

PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING

The Company uses personal data solely for specific, clear, and lawful purposes. Your personal data is essential to properly deliver our services, represent you in legal proceedings, or provide outcome-focused legal advice.

When handling your personal data, we follow the principle of minimization and process only the data necessary and relevant to accomplish the predefined and specified purpose.

We do not process the personal data of the data subject/client for direct marketing purposes, including during your visits to our website or social media pages.

 

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

We only process the personal data of the data subject/client when there is a lawful basis, including your consent, granted for one or more specific purposes.

We use the personal data of the data subject/client when necessary to fulfill obligations arising from the contract concluded with them and to provide the service.

We process the personal data of the data subject/applicant when needed to review a submitted job application.

 

MANDATORY PROVISION OF DATA

The data subject/client must provide the personal data necessary to receive legal advice and to enter into a subsequent service agreement.

 

DATA SHARING

The Company does not transfer personal data of the data subject/client without their consent, except in the following cases:

  • When sharing data with a third party is necessary to provide services to the data subject/client, to properly carry out legal procedures, or to represent them in various private or public institutions and courts;
  • When sharing personal data of the data subject/client is necessary for national safety purposes and/or required by law, provided such transfer does not violate legislation governing legal (advocacy) practice;
  • When we transfer the subject’s/client’s personal information (name, surname, address, phone number) to a postal or courier service provider authorized to process such data.

 

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

International data transfer is an exception when sharing personal data is necessary at the data subject’s/ client’s request. The Company follows Orders N23 and N33 issued by the Head of the Personal Data Protection Service when conducting international transfers.

 

DATA STORING

The Company stores personal data only for the period required to achieve the purpose of processing or to meet obligations imposed by law:

  • The Company keeps the personal data of the data subject/client for the statutory period (no longer than 3 years) as specified in the Tax Code of Georgia after fulfilling contractual obligations;
  • If no contractual relationship is established between the Company and the data subject/client, personal data is deleted immediately;
  • For job applications submitted for vacancies announced by the Company, the personal data of the data subject/applicant is deleted within 10 (ten) business days. If the data subject/applicant consents, the data is stored for up to 12 (twelve) months for consideration in future vacancies.

 

DATA SECURITY

To ensure the protection and high-level security of personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or damage, the company implements appropriate technical and organizational measures. It continuously assesses information security risks and maintains the physical and electronic security of your data. The company records all incidents that could threaten data security and resolves them promptly.

 

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT/CLIENT

The data subject/client has the right to request information about the processing of their personal data, as well as its correction, update, modification, deletion, destruction, or blocking. The data subject can withdraw consent for processing at any time without providing a reason or explanation. Once consent is withdrawn, processing will stop, and the data will be deleted or destroyed no later than 10 (ten) business days. Blocking will be applied immediately, but no later than 3 (three) business days.

If the Company denies a data request (other than blocking), the data subject or client will be notified of the reason for the refusal and given instructions on how to appeal within 10 (ten) business days. Decisions regarding blocking requests are communicated immediately, no later than 3 (three) business days.

The rights of the data subject/client may be limited when explicitly stated by Georgian law or when necessary to safeguard national or public safety.

If the company violates the rights of the data subject/client, the latter may file a complaint with the State Audit Office or court, in accordance with legally established procedures. Decisions made by the State Audit Office can also be appealed to court within the timeframe and under the conditions specified by Georgian law.

The data subject may request that the State Audit Office issue a blocking decision before their application review is complete.

 

WHAT DATA WE PROCESS AND HOW

The Company processes the following personal data of data subjects/clients using both non-automated and semi-automated means:

  • Name and surname
  • Electronic communication identifiers (email, phone number)
  • Address
  • Identification/personal number
  • Any information related to the client’s case and provided by the client (excluding special category data)
  • For job applicants – only the data and personal characteristics provided by the applicant.

 

DATA WE DO NOT PROCESS

  • We do not process special category data unless the subject/client provides written consent;
  • We do not process minors’ personal or special category data.

 

SOURCES OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

  • We collect data only upon your request (whether in person, by phone, or electronically) and when you seek consultation or legal services from our lawyers.
  • Before entering into a contractual relationship, we may also obtain information about you from publicly available sources as part of preliminary assessments;
  • We collect your data from applications (CVs) submitted for open positions announced by the Company;
  • We receive your personal information when you submit it through our website’s contact form.
